Welcome to Canterbury Art.
I studied art at Bath Academy of Art and Kent Institute of Art and Design (now the University for the Creative Arts) in Canterbury, where I gained a degree in Fine Art.
My style can be described as contemporary with an emphasis on strong colour. My recent work includes studies of natural forms, using a wide range of media including acrylic paints, inks, pastels and digital prints. I have also made a series of multi-image prints of sites in and around Canterbury and Kent, with the intention of conveying the atmosphere of the place rather than a simple representation.
Apart from the larger pieces of work, I have also designed cards for local businesses as well as Christmas cards.
